Karen brings over 40 years of experience in the NHS, where she has been at the forefront of addressing performance concerns. For the past 22 years, she has worked as the Lead Adviser in her national role, guiding a team of advisers.

Latterly as Case advice Technical Lead, Karen has supported Chief Executives, Medical Directors and senior managers to tackle complex behavioural, health, and capability issues, predominantly in the secondary care sector, including the independent sector. Her work has involved contributing evidence to high-profile national inquiries and media-related cases.


Karen is known for her pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach. She has been a driving force in establishing a national assisted mediation and team review service and brings extensive expertise in conflict resolution, engaging with a variety of stakeholders such as lawyers, the BMA, and Defence bodies. Additionally, Karen has played a key role in the development and delivery of a highly regarded educational programme for case investigation and case management.


Karen's credentials are as follows: she is a former CIPD fellow, holds an MSc in Personnel Management, and is an advanced coach, accredited mediator, and NLP practitioner. She also partners with a network of skilled professionals to offer a customised approach tailored to each client's unique needs.
